Expresiones del Corazón Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Añejo Tequila is crafted in Arandas, Jalisco, using carefully selected agave harvested by expert jimadors. The tequila undergoes a precise blending process, combining high and low sugar content agave to create a balanced blanco before aging. This expression spends 19 months in barrels that previously held Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, infusing it with layers of spice and complexity.  

Rich and full-bodied, this añejo opens with bold red pepper and cinnamon spice, giving way to notes of dark chocolate and burnt caramel. Smoldering oak lingers on the finish, adding depth and warmth. The influence of the rye whiskey barrels brings a unique intensity, making each sip both familiar and unexpected.
