MB Roland Kentucky Dark Fired Whiskey

Using the own dark fired corn in the mash bill, MB Roland age the Kentucky Dark Fired Whiskey in their used bourbon barrels. The result is a spirit that is a little lighter than bourbon, but includes all of the campfire and barbecue notes provided by the smoked corn. The residual bourbon in the used barrels also kicks up the proof a few points, so you’ll typically find these batches ranging from 110 – 120 proof (55 – 60% ABV).
